IFA 2008: Harman/Kardon SoundSticks II
The attractive transparent SoundSticks II speaker system was also present on IFA 2008 at the Harman/Kardon stand. Harman/Kardon’s SoundSticks II is a 40-watt three-piece speaker system that produces high quality stereo sound for music, MP3’s, movies and gaming.

SoundSticks II exists out of two 10-watt speakers accompanied by a 20-watt subwoofer. The two speakers are each equipped with four 1-inch drivers and rest on sturdy and adjustable bases. Together with the bubble like subwoofer the SoundSticks II has an aesthetic and pleasing design. It actually looks a bit like an exotic jellyfish.

SoundSticks II plug and play
Anyone that has a mini stereo jack input on their music player or game console can plug it into the Harman/Kardon Soundsticks II. With the Touch Volume Control you can quite easily change the volume or just mute the system. On the back of the subwoofer you can adjust the treble and subwoofer level. The annoying detail is that the SoundSticks II isn’t equipped with visual display and lacks a headphone jack.
